While I'm feeding Logan...

...Emily finds ways to entertain Nathan. At least they are happy right? And at least he's wearing a baseball hat - that's masculine right? Does it balance out the pink dress up and white high heels? (Hey speaking of this baseball hat - it showed up at my house several weeks ago and I've been trying to find out who it belongs to ever since. Is it yours?)

So the day we came home from the hospital everyone in the family started in with sore throats and runny noses and coughs! We've all been pretty congested and the kids cough all night long and I've been doing my best to keep little Logan away from it all and washing hands a million times a day and trying not to let the kids kiss him on his face but to no avail. A few nights ago he started getting all "snarfley" at night (do you like my made up word?) And now he's sneezing out green boogers and has had a little bit of green eye boogers. Luckily no fever and he's not complaining about it, he's still a super good natured little baby, but I feel so bad that we shared our cold with him! Poor little guy! Well on Sunday Emily wanted to snuggle with Peter while he was reading on the couch and then we headed out to Peter's parents house for dinner.

On the way there we stopped by a friends house who was in need of a little newborn exposure! While we were there, Emily got really snuggley and we noticed that she had a little fever. We got out to Peter's parents and about 10 minutes later she threw up! Poor thing! We put her in the bath and borrowed some clothes and then she fell asleep on the couch.

Poor little girl! I felt so bad for her! She woke up the next morning feeling totally fine and acted like nothing ever happened, but I hope we don't pass this bug onto little Logan as well! Here's a few pictures from Sunday, Nathan playing in the carseat:

Uncle Tim with Logan:

Heres a cute one of Logan sleeping while we ate dinner last night:

Today we took him in for his 2 week check up and he weighed 7 lb 10 oz and is now 21 inches long! So he's growing quickly! I brought the girls and Nathan to his appointment (Tyler went down to California with my mom to spend some time with his cousins and we'll meet up with them at Whiskeytown Lake on Monday) and when it came time to prick Logan's heel to finish up the PKU test the girls were so sad that we were going to make Logan cry that the both plugged their ears and hid their eyes in the corner! Sweet sisters!

We drove home and Nathan and Logan both fell asleep in the car and Maddie told me that she wasn't feeling well. I felt her forehead and it feels like shes got a fever now too. She came in and laid down on the couch and fell asleep. So Emily and I are the only ones awake right now.

Dinner is in the oven, the laundry is done and the house is all picked up. I'm not feeling tired, so I don't want to take a nap. I guess I could pack a little for camping, I do need to drop a few things off and Aunt Diane's for her to bring up to Whiskeytown for us, but I'll do that when Peter's done working. So I guess I'll just finish updating our blog and then do some head swaps for a friend of mine and relax a little! Things are great in the Ehat household!

Love the picture of Nathan in the dress, this just goes to show how much the Ehat children all look alike, I thought it was Emily. When you said at least the hat he has on is masculine I thought, "what" and did a double take. Your kids are adorable I love the picture of the girls standing in the corner with their ears plugged, how sweet is that. You are such a great Mother, it is so evident that your children love and adore each other! Things are great in the Ehat household!

AAghh, just read your comment and we're at home now. We do plan on making the trip more often though and I'll have to get your number so we can get together!
