Madeline is Baptized

This gorgeous girl was baptized on September 3rd. As I mentioned in my last post, we had been camping with some friends and came home the night before her baptism. Tyler and Nathan both had games that afternoon as well and it was the BYU vs Utah football game that day. So it was a busy day.

We have a fantastic Stake Primary Presidency who took pictures of each of the kids in their white clothes and made a scrapbook page for each of them. I was so glad because otherwise I wouldn't have had a picture of these two together on this special day.

Here is most of the family that was able to come for her baptism. My Aunt Diane and her husband Norman came as well but I guess they left before we took the picture. My mom was in town and so was my Granny (my Dad's mom who lives in Manti) so they were both able to be there and all of Peter's family who lives close and both of my brothers came as well.

After the baptism we raced home and changed clothes and went to Tyler's football game and then went out to ice cream at Maddie's favorite ice cream place, "Maggie Moo's". Madeline's nickname is Maddie Moo so she loves that it's so similar to her name. In fact when she was little we called her Maddie Moo so often that one day as we were driving in the car she said to me, "Hey Mom, did you know that cow's say my last name?" a little confused I said, "Oh really?" to which she replied, "Yep! Maddie Moooooo!!" Sweet girl! After coming home from ice cream, the guys got all settled in to watch the BYU football game while we went out on a girls trip. We were going to go get all of our nails painted (Me and my mom and both of my girls) but as we saw the fancy massage chairs and I thought of the relaxing foot bath I decided that Madeline and I would get full pedicures and my mom and Emily could buy a new nail polish at the store and we'd paint her nails when we got home. Everyone was thrilled! It was a great end to a fantastic day!
