Our sweet Madeline turned seven while we were in Hawaii. So even though she had a super fun birthday with her Grandma and Grandpa and cousins and aunts and uncles from California while we were gone, we had to celebrate with her before we went. We had a Masquerade Ball party the Saturday before we left with some of her friends and a party with the family on Sunday August 1st. She was really excited for her birthday this year because the date is so unique! She turned 7 on 8-9-10. 7,8,9,10. Wow!! That's pretty amazing right?! Sweet girl! We are so glad she's a part of our family!
She decided that she wanted cupcakes this year and she picked out a SUPER yummy Oreo cookie cupcake recipe! There is an oreo cookie baked into the bottom of the cupcake and then one on top. YUM!
She also wanted a pinata and she and her friends had such a fun time taking turns hitting it as hard as they could! I love the picture above because she had just hit it so hard that it snapped right off of the rope, she was so shocked and I love the expression on her face!

The girls got to make their own masks for their Masquerade Ball and then they danced around the Family Room until their parents came.
It really was a fun party and the girls were all so cute! This is a fun age! We love our Sweet Maddie!!
