We took the kids ice skating on Thursday and they were SO excited! They've been begging to go for MONTHS and we finally had the chance to go! It was a lot of fun. Above they are watching the Zamboni getting ready to go back out on the ice.

Emily had a blast and ditched the "training wheels" after a few rounds when she got the hang of it and just stayed close to the side where she could grab the wall
Nathan was ECSTATIC about skating without having to hold our hands. He did such a great job!
Logan wasn't too fond of the ice and preferred to sit on the side and watch.
Tyler took a pretty nasty fall right before we left and hit his head (and lip) on the ice really hard. This was not even 1 minute after he hit and it's already super swollen with a cut in the middle. He felt really dizzy and like he was going to throw up and I'm pretty sure he got a concussion. He was a trooper though and the bump was actually gone the next day with no lingering headaches so that's good. It was a lot of fun despite Tyler's fall and the kids are excited to go again... next year!
