FHE at the Farm

On Monday we took the kids to the Farm at Thanksgiving Point for Family Home Evening. We brought a picnic dinner and had fun feeding all of the animals and of course riding on the ponies. Nathan is so cute, he LOVES horses and he calls them "Worsies"! How cute is that? Also, the peacock had all of his feathers fanned out and Nathan ran over to it SO excited and exclaimed, "Mommy! Look! It's the Island Princess!" For those of you who may not have daughters in love with Barbie movies, the Island Princess is a movie where Barbie stars as a girl who was shipwrecked on an exotic island and grows up with animals as her family and when she comes to the "mainland" with a prince he invites her to a ball and her ball gown includes peacock feathers on the back of it. She also has a Peacock as one of her best friends on the show, so anyway, Nathan didn't know what the real name of this animal was but he recognized it as the Island Princess, so cute!
