Our House

So everyone has been asking to see pictures of our new house and here they are! These first two of the outside of the house and the backyard are from the MLS listing way back when so the quality is kind of low, but you get the idea.

It's on half an acre and has a walkway that goes all the way around the whole house and the kids have had a ball riding their bikes around and around and around! So here's a kind of photo tour, keep in mind that we have not painted ANYTHING! We need to repaint the entire house except for the kids room, but the orange isn't really as bad as the pictures make it look. First you walk in the front door to the entry (double door coat closet is nice for our big family with lots of coats!):

and to your right is the mudroom, laundry room, half bathroom and Peter's office as well as a door to the 3 car garage:

Then you go back out to the entry and to your left is the living room and dining room:

And then through the double doors is the kitchen and the family room:

Then back down the hallway to the front door and up the stairs and on the left is the master bedroom and bathroom (my favorite room of the house!):

Then down the hall on the left is the kids bathroom (with a separate shower/toilet room and a double door linen closet):

and across from that is Logan and Nathans room (how perfect are the wall colors in their room?!):

Then the girls room is on the left past the bathroom (love their wall color too!) and we're loving the double closet for them:

And then Tyler's room is at the very end of the hall (he LOVES having his own room):


And that is our new house! The finished square footage is only 100 square feet bigger than our old house but with the MUCH bigger kitchen and 4 bedrooms PLUS an office and the 3 car garage we fit so much nicer in this home. Plus it has an unfinished basement with 3 bedrooms a bathroom and a huge family room (and a cold storage room) framed out and ready to finish. Right now we are using the basement for storage and a play room. We feel SO so so very blessed and still can't believe that we are living in this beautiful home! We had some friends over the other night and were surprised how many people we could comfortably fit in there! The previous owners also left their hot tub in the backyard and we haven't been out there to enjoy it yet but PLEASE feel free to come by and use it whenever you want! Our house is open for use for hosting parties and any get-togethers you want, there's only one catch... we have to be invited!!
We really are loving it here and have had fun living in this cul-de-sac with so many good friends!
