New Years!

New Years Eve we had a very low key gathering with a few friends and after we put the kids to bed we decided to ring in the new year with our first ever dip in our hot tub that came with our new house! Our friends and neighbors Mindy and Shaun were able to join us! Mindy was just glad that the water was warm this time!! We had way too much fun daring each other to jump out and make snow angels and get back in, or roll in the snow and the favorite of the night was the "couples roll" demonstrated by Mindy and Shaun! Sorry to all of my neighbors who may have heard us a little too late into the evening (or I guess I should say morning!). The pictures turned out kind of crazy because there was so much steam but you get the idea.

A few hours later... the kids woke up and we decided that it was a great day to start Logan on solid food! He LOVED it!!! He kept grabbing my hands and shoving the spoon back into his mouth! Lol!! Sweet boy! Seriously! They just don't make cuter or happier babies than this!

A few hours later... Grandma and Grandpa Jay and Auntie Anna came by to bring the kids their Christmas pajamas that we weren't in town to open earlier. The kids were SO excited to see them and decided right away to put their new jammies on and leave them on for the rest of the day!

A few hours later... Peter's family came out for dinner and games (football games of course) and more hot tubbin'! This was the kids first dip and they were SOOOOOooooooooo excited!! It was so fun to see them get in for the first time and get to share it with cousins and Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles! Tyler and Carter were even brave enough to try the snow angels too!

And I thought I should post this picture to show Logan's favorite past time. This little boy will spend FOREVER in this little Johnny Jump Up or whatever it's called and bounce SUPER high just squealing and cooing and smiling so huge it looks like his face is going to crack! He just loves this thing! We've had it with all of the kids but there has never really been a place to put it since it has to hang on a door frame and the only door frames we've had in the past have been in closets! We now have the doorway between the kitchen and dining room and it is right in the middle of all of the action all day long! He loves it! And I love that he loves it! It means that I can have free hands most of the time and still talk to him and he's still happy!

Anyway! We had a great New Years Eve/Day and are excited for the opportunities of this new year!
