Happy Halloween

I love that living in Utah (where a large portion of the population is LDS) whenever Halloween falls on a Sunday we take the liberty of changing the date of Halloween to be October 30th instead of the 31st and everyone does it. Yes it's true people, my children thought that Halloween was Saturday and we did not trick or treat or even dress up on Sunday, nor did we get a single trick or treater on Sunday even though there are many in our neighborhood not of our faith. All of Utah celebrated Halloween on Saturday this year! It was pretty rainy and cold but it didn't seem to stop anyone! The streets were filled with kids and costumes and we came home with WAY too much candy!

Tyler decided to be "a slight mix of everything" this year (his exact words). He pulled out a bunch of random stuff from the costume box and pieced this beauty together! Lol! Man I love that kid!

Maddie was a Fairy Princess and she spent the day using her magic wand to turn everyone into something that they already were, so that she could believe that her magic was real! Lol!

Emily found this witch costume at the second hand store several weeks ago and fell in love. She was so cute! She spent a little time every day perfecting her witch cackle.

Nate-man the fire ninja acted his part a little too well and spent the evening doing jump kicks and slicing the air with his hands! He stepped in a pretty big puddle about mid way through our trick or treating and by the time we were on the cul-de-sac right next to ours he said at every house, "dis is da last house okay guys? I'm cold I'm ready to be done." Then he'd go to the door and they'd give him some candy and he'd get excited all over again and say, "Ok just one more, but dis is da last house okay guys?" We did the entire cul-de-sac...

Logan had fun and stayed warm in his cozy Dog costume, although his poor little hands were pretty red and cold when we got home! He was so cute in his costume, he would bring it to me and ask me to put it on him and then he'd crawl around the house panting with his tongue hanging out of his mouth and he'd bark occasionally! Cute boy is getting big so fast!
