For the Relief Society Birthday Celebration this year I got to dress up as Elizabeth Whitney for a little reenactment of the first Relief Society Meeting.
Oh yes, that is me in all of my enormity! Not the most flattering picture by ANY stretch of the imagination but it was so funny that it needed to be documented. Now moving along...
Here is Nathan showing us some crazy "cheese" as he enjoys sitting in a real Helicopter at the Children's Discovery Museum in Salt Lake. It had free admission for St. Patty's day if you wore green, so we decided to brave the crowds and take advantage of it. It was pretty cool! Would have been cooler if there weren't a gazillion kids there and our kids were able to enjoy it a little more, but it was still worth it and we had fun.
Cute picture of Emily and Logan. Emily got out a stool for Logan to stand on so they could dance together a little better. Logan loved it and they were so cute playing so happily together.

Our amazing April Fools dinner courtesy of Aunt Jen. It's meatloaf and mashed potatoes (dyed yellow and blue) shaped as a cake! It was super fun! We also had some "surprise pockets" filled bread pockets with several different kinds of fillings (pepperoni and cheese, BBQ chicken, chicken and broccoli, chicken enchilada filling...) So you don't know what you get until you bite into it. It was a lot of fun! We had both of my brothers over for dinner that night and had a fun evening together.
The next day my parents showed up for a visit from California! My dad rarely gets enough time away from work to make the drive up to see us so it was a special treat! The girls had fun playing dress up with him...
And doing his hair... or making up for his lack of it! ;)
They also talked his ear off telling him stories and showing him all of their tricks and just soaking up every minute of Grandpa time that we had!
Grandpa of course had a blast and even enjoyed a rousing game of Ring Around the Rosie outside the Sweet Tomatoes restaurant where we had just eaten to celebrate Sterling's birthday.
Grandma and Grandpa were also here to enjoy Madeline's class poetry recital that they've been working on.
Maddie performed "Sick" by Shel Silverstein and did an AMAZING job!! She had the entire thing memorized and recited it all with perfect pronunciation and dramatic effects, it was priceless. Peter has a video of it on his phone and I'll have to figure out a way to post it because it was truly impressive! Sweet girl!
One day we decided to take the kids to the Thanksgiving Point Deli for some ice cream as a family and it was so much fun! As you can see they all enjoyed it! As we got in the car to drive home, Emily set her cone down on the seat so she could help Logan into his carseat and Tyler sat on it. Ooops! Fun times!

Logan and his buddy Bennett. We got to have Bennett and his brother stay over one night while their mom was in the hospital having a baby! Logan LOVED having his friend over all day long and they followed each other around all day and played so well together.
