On the 23rd, Peter's Mom, the sister in law's Jessica and Stephanie and I all decided that we needed a girls night. So we went out to dinner and a movie. We were going to see Australia with Nicole Kidman but show times didn't work out, so instead we went to see Four Christmases... DON'T SEE IT! It was packed full of crude humor and language and the whole concept was anti-family and just miserable. BUT we had a fun time at dinner and spending time together! That night Tyler and Maddie wanted to spend the night and Grandma Ehat's with Carter and Britton. So we left the kids (minus Nathan and Emily) with Chris and Joe and Gpa Ehat and took our Girls Night. The next morning I was busy at the house taking care of sick Nathan, sick Emily and sick Peter, while trying to clean house and finish wrapping and getting things ready to bring out for our Christmas Eve party. So the kids hung out at Grandma's and Stephanie did Maddie's hair. How cute is she?

And they read books with Grandma. (Yes that is my 7 year old son sucking his finger and holding his ear - he only does it when he's tired but STILL! Any tips on how to get him to stop?)
That night we had the Jones' (Stephanie's family) and all of the Ehat's including Gma and Gpa Jay and Auntie Anna over and ate h'oardeurves (how in the world do you spell that?!) and had the kids dress up and act out the Nativity.

And Chris and Steph did a little song about Rudolph that involved Christmas Lights in the nose! so funny! Here's Nathan wearing their antlers after their performance:

And Peter's Dad did his performance from "Amal and the Night Visitor's" called "This is my Box" and the kids loved it as always! It was a fun night and despite the sick kids, we all had a great time!
