It's no coincidence that Emily's nickname has been "Remy" for quite sometime (Emily turned into "Em-the Rem" and then "Emmy Remy" and then just "Remy") and that there is a popular Pixar movie featuring a Little Chef named Remmy. Our own little Remy spent the first several weeks of February experimenting with recipes of her very own making! These tasty treats consisted of a slice of white bread, a careful mixture of crushed cheese crackers and fishy crackers and some craisons. When the delectable toppings had a tricky time staying ON the bread she added a healthy spread of peanut butter underneath the toppings and VOILA!! A perfect treat! Cleaver Girl! I admit to eating the entire slice of bread (how could I NOT?) and it wasn't half bad! We've also indulged in a fabulous peanut butter/crushed cheese crackers dipping sauce spread on apple slices or pretzels (also quite delicious!) Just another demonstration of the creative juices flowing from this sweetheart! She has a mind all her own and is always finding ways to use her creativity! We love you so much little Remy! (Who, by the way is actually not so little anymore! She has KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION this week! I can hardly believe it! It's all happening too fast!)
